Phew, so this past week has been a whirlwind adventure to say the least! lol. I just got back from Paris, France, again!! And it was so great, super cold, but worth it!! :)
Definitely had a crazy start to our trip since our flight was cancelled, and then it got delayed at Munich, Germany for a night Oh, andd.. we never recieved our luggage the entiree trip!!... so we had to wear the same outfit a couple of days, cause we didn't have time to go shopping.
On our last day, we were able to finally visit Avenue de Champs Elysses, and the Arc de Triomphe. I just love walking around on the French streets, and taking it in. And eating macarons, and pink champagne.. umm. yes please!! Oh and the parties! ;)
The beautiful Eiffel tower, this is one of my favorite monuments next to the colosseum. It just takes my breathe away every time!! <3
I loveee the Hermes window displays, since we only had Sunday to really explore, and many of the stores were closed, we got to do some window shopping lol! I loved that they used delicate paper cutouts as the display, its so charming and fun!
Ate an amazing meal at the infamous Laduree. My meal consisted of hot duck foie gras, scallops, and delicious pastries & macarons ( pistachio being one of my favorites). I am still thinking about their pastries lol!!
Aside from eating tons of croissants ( not pictured, since I devoured them), lol and enjoying the atmosphere of Paris. I can't wait to return, and really go shopping, with our luggages the next time! I am so grateful that I'm able to travel the world. I miss the romantic city already, and will be back soon enough!! <3
With Love,
Kelly
PS.. I am totally bummed that google friend connect will be closing on July 1, 2013!! :( Feel free to follow me on bloglovin, here! <3

Sounds like you had a rough start, but you made the best out of the situation. I am glad you had fun and were able to walk around and see the sites. Bummer about your luggage, I hope you didn't lose if forever and it showed up somewhere.

Wow, that sounds like a real mess with the flight delay and the lost luggage. I would have been so frustrated. At least you made the best of the situation (you had no choice but to go shopping in Paris!).
I've been to Paris a couple of times and it's so awesome. There's so much to do there! But I admit that I never fully took advantage of the culinary scene. I'd love to go back again though.
I love your pics!
You are so lucky to see those beautiful things.
kisses :(
